Cink je jedan od najbitnijih makroelemenata koji se mogu na\u0107i u ljudskom telu. U telu odraslih osoba u svakom trenutku nalazi se oko 2 mg cinka. Pored gvo\u017e\u0111a, cink je jedan od najrasprostranjenijih minerala u telu i nalazi se u svakoj \u0107eliji. Cink igra veoma bitnu ulogu u rastu, reprodukciji, zgru\u0161avanju krvi, vidu, radu \u0161titne \u017elezde i imunolo\u0161kom sistemu.<\/p>\n

Koja je funkcija cinka?<\/h2>\n

Cink je sastojak koji aktivno u\u010destvuje u radu stotina razli\u010ditih kompleksa enzima. Ovaj element uti\u010de na metabolisanje proteina, lipida, ugljenih hidrata i nukleinskih kiselina (DNK i RNK). Cink je tako\u0111e veoma bitan faktor koji uti\u010de na rad nekoliko razli\u010ditih hormona, i to hormona \u0161titne \u017elezde, hormona insulina, polnih hormona i hormona rasta. Prisustvo cinka neophodno je kako bi se uspostavile i stabilizovale \u0107elijske membrane. Cink tako\u0111e ustaljuje i druge \u0107elijske komponente, i obezbe\u0111uje odgovaraju\u0107u strukturu organima i reguli\u0161e njihov rad. Ovaj element klju\u010dni je faktor u \u0107elijskoj deobi, a neophodan je i za uspostavljanje i odr\u017eavanje normalnog rasta tokom trudno\u0107e, detinjstva i adolescencije. Cink u\u010destvuje i u procesu sinteze DNK, aktivira gene ukoliko do\u0111e do imunolo\u0161ke reakcije organizma, ubrzava zarastanje rana i zale\u010divanje tkiva. Tako\u0111e uti\u010de i na \u010dulo ukusa i mirisa.<\/p>\n

Koje namirnice su bogate cinkom?<\/h2>\n

Neke od namirnice u kojima se mo\u017ee na\u0107i ve\u0107a koli\u010dina cinka su ostrige, kvasac, jetra, meso, jaja, riba, \u017eitarice, mleko i mle\u010dni proizvodi. Manje koli\u010dine cinka mogu se na\u0107i i u povr\u0107u, ali se tu nalazi u obliku koji se te\u017ee apsorbuje. Iako postoji veliki broj namirnica koje su bogate cinkom, telo mo\u017ee da apsorbuje izme\u0111u 20 i 30% cinka koji unese kroz hranu.<\/p>\n

Koji je preporu\u010deni dnevni unos cinka?<\/h2>\n

Odraslim osobama preporu\u010duje se unos oko 15 mg cinka dnevno. Tokom dojenja pove\u0107ava se potreba \u017eena za cinkom, te se preporu\u010duje doza od 19 mg dnevno. Bez obzira na koli\u010dinu cinka, savetuje se uzimanje ovog suplementa za vreme obroka sa vodom ili sokom.<\/p>\n

Koje su posledice nedovoljnog unosa cinka u telo?<\/h2>\n

Nedostatak cinka u telu koji dovodi do pojave ozbiljnih posledica veoma je retka pojava. Hroni\u010dna deficijencija cinka mo\u017ee izazvati promene na ko\u017ei, gubitak kose, dijareju, infekcije koje se vra\u0107aju i psiholo\u0161ke poreme\u0107aje. U ekstremnin slu\u010dajevima nedostatak cinka mo\u017ee dovesti do usporavanja polnog razvoja i polnog sazrevanja, impotencije, gubitka te\u017eine, poreme\u0107aja \u010dula ukusa i mirisa, kao i usporavanja procesa zarastanja rana. Dugotrajan unos velike koli\u010dine cinka mo\u017ee poremetiti sposobnost tela da metaboli\u0161e bakar i cink. Preterani unos cinka tako\u0111e mo\u017ee smanjiti koli\u010dinu odre\u0111enih vrsta belih krvnih zrnaca i umanjiti imunolo\u0161ku funkciju tela. Povi\u0161en nivo cinka mo\u017ee i sniziti nivo “dobrog” holesterola u krvi i time poremetiti rad srca i enzima u pankreasu.<\/p>\n

Da li uzimanje cinka mo\u017ee spre\u010diti pojavu prehlade?<\/h2>\n

Neke studije su pokazale da u slu\u010dajevima te\u0161ke neuhranjenosti uzimanje suplemenata cinka mo\u017ee pove\u0107ati nivo T limfocita u krvi, i time umanjiti trajanje i intenzitet infekcija.
