Who can undergo this type of examination?

Continuous exercise and a healthy diet can ensure an individual overall well-being, which can greatly reduce their chances of developing certain conditions such as cancer, heart attack, hypertension, diabetes, obesity, functional disorders  and osteoporosis.

Humanitas LAB has designed a course exclusively for men and women interested in altering their lifestyle to meet their needs by addressing even the smallest everyday problems and symptoms (such as fatigue, heaviness, weight gain, mood disorders, sleep, pre-menopause problems, etc). By improving efficiency and physical fitness, signs and symptoms can be reduced “over the years” as well as the risk of major chronic diseases, in turn improving the quality and quantity of life.

Why undergo this type of examination?

Be being physically active and maintaining a normal body weight, an individual can improve their overall body functions  (especially metabolic, hormonal, immunological, and neurodegenerative), in turn enhancing their overall health status and general well-being. Well-being is a relative state where one maximizes his or her physical, mental, and social functioning in the context of supportive environments to live a full, satisfying, and productive life. The examination involves an evaluation of an individual’s lifestyle (detailed examination of dietary habits, physical activity, smoking, stress, defining the levels of risk associated with cardio-metabolic and neoplastic) by highly qualified experts. This examination is done in order to identify the points worthy for improvement as well as to define a customized program for each individual based on their own needs such as nutrition and exercise.  The goal is to achieve a state of optimal health and well being.
