In the post-operative process you are transferred to a chair, where you are monitored by medical staff that intervenes in case of pain. At this point you will be served a light breakfast or a snack, depending on the time of day. The patient is observed on average for about an hour/hour and a half, but sometimes we prefer to detain you longer. When you leave, the doctor will give the patient directions to follow within the hours after discharge. These should be read carefully and followed: the success of the intervention also depends on how you conduct yourself at home. The instructions may include specifics on taking therapy and post-operative control time, which usually takes place on the day following the surgery.
