What is Simethicone?

Simethicone is simply used to reduce the voltage surface of small air bubbles present in the mucus and the material present in the stomach and intestines. In this way, it favors the union and consequently, the elimination.

 

How should Simethicone be taken?

Simethicone is administered orally. It can be taken in different forms: tablets, chewable tablets, capsules and liquid solutions. The latter can also be dissolved in water or added to the infant’s formula. Typically, 4 doses per day are recommended and they should be taken after meals and before going to sleep.
