Dehydration is a pathological condition that manifests itself in case of excessive loss of water and liquids that are a part of the human organism (which can originate from different causes) and is not compensated by an adequate re-entry of the same.

There may be different causes at the origin of the dehydration, ranging from excessive sweating, inadequate intake (or excessive loss) of liquids, dysfunction in the parts and mineral water. Vomiting and/or prolonged diarrhea or profuse sweating often cause it, and can trigger severe disturbances in the fluid and electrolyte balance of the body.

  • Bowel obstruction
  • Proctitis
  • Salmonella
  • Burns
