Dr. Matteo Donadon, MD, PhD, is a General Surgeon at the Humanitas University, Humanitas Research Hospital IRCCS in Milan, Italy.
He received his medical degree at the University of Milan and completed the residency in general surgery at the same University. He earned his PhD in Hepatobiliary Oncology at the University of Sacred Heart in Rome, Italy.
He previously worked as a research fellow at the Department of Surgical Oncology at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, Texas. His clinical activity is dedicated to the liver and biliary surgery, but he also works as emergency and trauma surgeon.
Dr. Donadon’s research interests comprise any aspect of liver and biliary surgery, including translational research. He is author/coauthor of approximately 80 articles published in peer-reviewed journals, many book chapters, and over hundreds of abstracts and presentations at national and international meetings.
